The Iowa Department of Human Services has partially restored foster care reimbursement rates by 1.31%. The new rates will go into effect on June 30, 2010.

Des Moines, Iowa - The Fostering Connections to Success and Increasing Adoptions Act of 2008 extended Chafee Foster Care Independence Program (CFCIP) benefits to former foster youth who are adopted or enter a subsidized guardianship arrangement on or after the 16^th birthday.
