LaVenus is a girl who likes to stay busy.  Jumping rope, riding bikes, singing and dancing are all activities that she enjoys.  When it’s time for a calm activity she likes computer and playing cards and board games.  LaVenus would prefer to always be around people – she is outgoing, talkative and makes friends easily.  She even doesn’t mind helping with chores around the house. 

The adults in LaVenus’ life feel she is empathetic towards others, happy and respectful.  She will need some help with homework and is doing well with her current school situation which includes some extra help at school.

A family with experience working with schools and other professionals would be beneficial.  LaVenus would benefit from a family that will have high, consistent expectations for her.  She would probably do better in a home where she can be the youngest child.  Because LaVenus has siblings in the area, it may be easier if she stays in Iowa. LaVenus would like a family that enjoys swimming, biking and camping.  She wants people to know that she is kind, loving, energetic and needs room to run.
