Julia needs help continuing to learn how to interact with peers and parental figures.  She is still learning that she does not get to control adults and peers.  She has an Individualized Education Program and needs help with reading, writing and math.

Nick loves school and does well in a regular classroom setting.  Though he is an active young man, he appears to be on track developmentally.  He will require help adjusting to a new home and it may take him awhile to feel comfortable and safe.  Nick isn’t sure what activities he’d like to do with a new family, but as an eight-year-old  he’s probably open for trying everything.

Craig is the youngest boy in this family.   He is described as a very loveable child who needs constant supervision.   He is very active and often needs to be redirected to avoid getting in trouble.  Craig loves Cars, SpongeBob SquarePants and Elmo.  He likes activities such as dancing, climbing and throwing balls, but also quiet times watching movies and having someone read to him. 

The family best suited for these children will obviously need time available and support available to add three active children to their home.  They will need to be able to work with the school for Julia and be ready to involve professionals as needed to continue to help the children grow.  Transitioning these children to a new home will be done slowly to allow the children to continue to feel safe and secure.

Julia is the big sister for this trio.  She loves dancing, singing, reading, coloring and Hannah Montana shows.  She also loves animals, especially horses.  Julia wants to help and tries hard to please people.  She is still learning about what are appropriate boundaries, and she still competes for attention with other children.  Once she is comfortable with someone she is very open and will share her feelings.
