Meet Hunter:

Hunter
Hunter
Age: 8

Hunter is a very active little boy who is always on the go. He enjoys listening to music, playing with noise makers and having stories read to him. He also loves to eat! At this time, Hunter is attending special education classes. He has minimal communication skills and eyesight, so he is learning some sign language for functional words. He is also learning to use a sound board. Hunter needs a family that will love him and keep him safe.

The ideal family for Hunter will be an adoptive couple who are understanding of his moderate to severe mental challenges and possess lots of patience. He must be the youngest child in the family. Hunter will require constant one-on-one supervision at all times for his safety and help with all of his self-help skills. He does not respond to vocal directives, has no fear and possesses a high tolerance for pain. The adoptive family should also be willing to allow Hunter to maintain a relationship with his current foster parents.
